Located just 9km from central London, Greenwich with its rich maritime history is a fantastic place for anyone to visit and explore. Famed for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time, it is home to the National Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark, as well as the stunning University of Greenwich. Greenwich is located in the South East of London on the DLR Line, leading directly into central London in only 25 minutes.
About the college
First founded in 1890, the University of Greenwich is one of the UK’s most impressive institutions. Split over two sites, the University of Greenwich provides brand-new accommodation, food halls and facilities, as well as stunning 17th Century buildings and grounds which are a dedicated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Cutty Sark Hall is a hall of residence near the Greenwich Campus. The hall, located by the Cutty Sark DLR station is a few minutes’ walk from the Greenwich Campus. Students will enjoy modern en-suite rooms which includes large kitchen areas and access to a secure courtyard area. There is Wi-Fi throughout the building as well as 24 hour security and a laundrette on site.
