There are many reasons why people choose to visit Bournemouth, but the biggest one is definitely the beach! With seven miles of golden sand, a magnificent cliffline and some of the warmest sea temperatures in the UK; Bournemouth attracts beach lovers from all over the world. The area benefits from its own micro-climate, making it one of the sunniest and hottest places in the UK.
Because of the beach and the climate, Bournemouth comes alive in the summer months. The many parks fill with people celebrating the summer, with loads of free events offering music and street food. You'll find people playing sports down on the beach until the sun goes down, or singing along to campfire songs.
