Brighton is located on the south coast of England, just 30 minutes from London Gatwick airport and less than an hour from central London. Brighton is actually formally known as the city of Brighton and Hove.
Once a small fishing village, Brighton grew quickly between 1750 and 1850 when the Prince Regent (later King George IV) came to live at the Royal Pavilion, the seaside palace. Now Brighton is one of the UK’s most popular destinations and is a vibrant cosmopolitan city of 250,000 people, an ideal place for international students to live and study.
About the college
Students study at Brighton College, one of the UK’s top private schools, which is situated just a few minutes from the city centre. This makes it easy for students and leaders to travel to and from host families and activities in other parts of the city. Young people from all over the world come to Brighton to study English, adding to the vibrant, international feeling that makes LSC Brighton Homestay a surefire winner.
